The Golden Wolves U-16 AAA team finished the season as state champions with a record of 38 wins 15 losses and 6 ties. This record includes a second place finish in the Southeastern District Championship with a 4 - 3 loss to Team Maryland.

It was an awesome year for the Wolves, who competed in tournaments from Rochester, New York to Cleveland, Ohio and Dallas, Texas. The level of play was highly competitive and the team secured 2nd and 3rd place finishes in many of the tournaments they entered. One of the many highlights of the season was the exposure the team received at two Junior Showcases along with a weekend trip to Long Island, New York to play against the Suffolk PAL Junior B team. The opportunity to play at the junior level enabled the players to be seen and recruited by junior coaches and scouts.

The U-16 team had an extraordinary year of camaraderie amongst the players as well as a wonderful cadre of parents. Under the leadership and direction of Coach Tim Kyrkostas and his assistants Coach Vladislav Cheremeta and Coach Tony Loe the Wolves practiced and played hard and had an unbelievable passion to win.
